On Saturday 25th July local people flocked to the First Highfield Park Fete, around 2500 to 3000 people attended the event.  To keep the children amused there was Childrens Fairground Rides, Mr Squirty the Clown, Fire Engine, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting.  Anyone interested in getting fit this summer was able to find out how Charters Health Club can improve their fitness regime.  For the daring, you could test your head for heights on the Climbing Wall and for those who just fancy a leisurely day out, there were over 40 Craft and Farmers Market Stalls, BBQ and Beer Tent.
