Highfield Helpers is a great way to get fit for free, no expensive gym memberships, no lycra clothes needed - just comfrtable old clothes, get to meet new people, have your work appreciated by those who use the Park, help the environemt and support a charity.
Work includes gardening, managing woodland, maintaining paths, tree planting, renovating areas, apple picking, pond clearance plus many more activities.
No experience is needed, we will provide tools and refreshments. Please were suitable outdoor clothes and footwear and bring a packed lunch, if you plan to stay for the afternoon.
