Community Facilities

Highfield Park CentreNot only does the Park have an attractive landscape there are two significant community facilities also situated in the Park.

The Highfield Park Centre – managed by Watford YMCA since 2006, the Centre has a gymnasium, sports hall, meeting rooms, changing facilities and a floodlit multi-use games area. The Watford YMCA through its Charters Health Club are leaders in the provision of health and fitness in the country with a philosophy of providing affordable and friendly facilities for community benefit. Watford YMCA has already developed many links with community and sporting groups in the area. We recommend you visit the Centre to see their facilities, call 01727 731540 or visit the Watford YMCA website – click on Charters Health Club then Highfield links. On behalf of Highfield Park Trust the Centre administers the hiring of the Park’s football pitches. So if you would like to hire a pitch – the first step is to call the Centre.
